Happy Canada Day
I started the day with a fabulous impromptu 10 km run along the river with the sun on my shoulders and the wind in my hair. Next, while Derek worked, I took the boys on a long walk to get a coffee and to pick up our half-basket of organic farm-fresh veggies.
Then, in celebration of our nation’s birthday, our family collectively (not individually) ate:
Breakfast: French toast, oatmeal and banana
Morning Snack: A buttermilk blueberry muffin and a slice of banana loaf
Lunch: Hotdog, french fries, ice cream, snow cones
Snack: Cotton candy, organic apple juice, and sliced apples
Dinner: Plain pizza
Snack: Air-popped popcorn
We had a great day together riding midway rides, playing games, listening to live music, and watching a movie on our big screen.
