Muffin Top

If you think I am going to tell you about my midriff, you are sorely mistaken.

What I’ve got to say about muffin tops is quite literal.

I find that a regular recipe for a dozen muffins makes 10 muffin tops

My boys, especially Lil D, prefer their muffins from muffin top pans.  I think they seem bigger, and for Lil C, the sweet tooth, they appear more like cookies.  In fact, we sometimes call them “muffin cookies” to make them more appealing as a replacement for a sweeter fattier cookie.

Have you tried the muffin top pan?  If you’re looking for one in Ottawa, mine are from Kitchenalia on Richmond Road.  They were a birthday gift from my children.
