It’s Thanksgiving somewhere today – not here.

But I work in the virtual US via my home in Canada so I have a slow workday and time to put some of my swirling thoughts on the screen.

On this American Thanksgiving I am thankful for (in no particular order):

  • A feisty six year old with an allergy that is common and easy to explain (read more in my next post this afternoon).
  • A sweet and saucy four year old with a shiner from baking with his mom (he fell off his chair).
  • An accommodating, understanding, generous husband.
  • Healthy parents (throwing salt over my left shoulder as I type that).

Happy American Thanksgiving! More post(s?) to come this afternoon.
