Restaurants

I’ve never kept a list of restaurants where I’ve dined (and ‘dined’ can be a bit of a stretch at some), but it seems that when it comes time to decide where to go for a meal out, the good ones never come to mind. This year I’m keeping a list right here. And you are welcome- no, encouraged to make comments or suggestions on it. I’m particularly interested in great new restaurants in the area, good veg spots, and great non-chain kid-friendly places (don’t get me wrong, we go to chain restaurants but prefer not to!)

A few notes about my choices:

  • I am a vegetarian who eats seafood and fish
  • Derek does not eat seafood and doesn’t particularly like fish
  • Derek does not like Indian food and I do

All restaurants are in Ottawa, ON unless otherwise noted. I’ll probably only include notable restaurants when we’re travelling.

The 2011 Restaurant List
